About Our Bases

All of our bases are purchased from US-based suppliers who source their wool from mulesing-free farms (this means that the wool is ethically-sourced, with no harm to the animals)!

Our Sassy line feature single-ply, 100% merino wool bases. You will absolutely swoon over the plump and cozy look of the strand and the crisp stitch texture it creates.

Our Simple line offers the standard base that you are likely familiar with from other indie dyers. Versatile for any project in your craft-of-choice. We do not plan to regularly offer this base unless there is high demand, but we still have in-stock yarn available on Simple DK.
